One of my favourite sites is Garance Doré's blog. Good photography and a gently humorous take on life. Very useful, I can visit this and I'm not avoiding keywording, I'm enriching my visual experience*. And it is quite distracting; for example...
As a nation Britain is often justifiably held up as having the worst language skills in Europe. The stereotype tends to shout louder, in English, and more aggressively. A very bad idea when dealing with a bored Carabinieri.
Now, I speak some French, some Spanish, less Italian and even less German. I realise I'm English and speak these languages with an English accent. Something my daughter's language teachers find baffling, apparently we should aim for a native accent(which one, Paris, Nime, Brittany, Franche Comte, Corsica?). So in England, I'm odd.
For the stereotype though, we appear to have some stiff competition these days. Enjoy.
Does the sound remind anyone else of the gulls on Finding Nemo?
*sorry, I've been exposed to a self development through art theory book, as an antidote I went and looked at a couple of Turners
